After breakfast, begin your Marrakech city tour with a local guide. Continue to Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the opulent Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. Stroll through the lively souks filled with spices, textiles, and handicrafts. End your day in the magical Jemaa el-Fna Square, where musicians, snake charmers, and storytellers fill the air with rhythm and life. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Depart for the coastal town of Essaouira, a UNESCO-listed city famed for its whitewashed medina, blue doors, and relaxed seaside vibe. Stop at an Argan oil cooperative en route to see traditional oil extraction methods. Upon arrival, visit the bustling fishing port, ramparts, and sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast. Explore the artisan workshops that make Essaouira a haven for artists and musicians. Dinner and overnight stay in Essaouira.
After breakfast, travel inland toward the High Atlas Mountains, Morocco’s natural heart. Wind through stunning valleys and Berber villages until you reach a tranquil mountain retreat. Immerse yourself in the daily life of Berber communities, enjoy mint tea with locals, and take in breathtaking views of terraced hillsides. Dinner and overnight at a charming riad in the Atlas Mountains.
Today’s drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) offers panoramic views of mountain landscapes. Visit the Telouet Kasbah, once a palace of the Glaoui Pasha, and continue to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and legendary filming location for Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia. Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as “the Gateway to the Sahara.” Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Depart for the Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural wonders. En route, pass through Skoura Oasis, famous for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Enjoy a light trek through the canyon, where 300-meter-high cliffs create a dramatic landscape ideal for photography or light climbing. Dinner and overnight at your hotel near the gorges.
After breakfast, continue through the Tinghir Oasis and across desert plains to reach Erfoud and Rissani, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga. Embark on a 2-hour camel trek through the golden dunes at sunset. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where dinner awaits by candlelight under a blanket of stars. Experience Berber drumming, storytelling, and a night of pure desert magic.
Awake to a stunning Sahara sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp. Set off on a 4WD desert excursion across Erg Chebbi. Visit nomadic Berber families, the Khamlia village (home of Gnawa musicians), and fossil-rich areas around Taouz. In the afternoon, unwind by a hotel pool or take a short walk among the dunes. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
After breakfast, visit the Rissani Market, one of Morocco’s most authentic souks, then continue to Erfoud, known for fossil workshops and marble products. Travel through the scenic Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves, and reach Midelt, nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Dinner and overnight at your mountain riad.
Journey north through lush cedar forests and mountain landscapes. Stop in Azrou to see the playful Barbary macaques, then in Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine charm. Arrive in Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city, in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Fes.

Everything was very well organized and met highly our expectations.Posted on Gabriela CVerified Agafay's desert dinner We went to Agafay's desert dinner and everything was really well organized. The food was really good. The camel's ride was really funny. People were kind. We've had a good time. Thank you.Posted on Rex KVerified Youness is incredible! We had the most wonderful and memorable time, largely thanks to Youness. He was the best ever and we are so appreciative. Posted on GrandTour746743Verified A wonderful taste of Morocco and the desert It was a magical trip. Our guide Mohammed had many years of experience plus he had genuine love for his job and his native country. This combined, provided a very rich 3 days where we learned and experienced Morocco. The scenery was amazing from the Atlas Mountains to the Saharra desert. From the Berber villages to the vast canyons and gorges. The food along the way was local and delicious - we never went hungry. As we spent a lot of time in the car (which was comfortable and luxurious - a Mecedes van), Mohammed was very open to stopping when we wanted to (or needed to!). The accommodations were really top notch highlighted by the tent in the desert. The experience in the desert, traveling on camel to where we slept, the scenery, the massive dunes, the sky full of stars, the chill at night, and the hospitality of the local people made it an experience that I will repeat. I will give this experience my highest recommendation.Posted on Henry OVerified Best trip ever We had the absolute best time. I cannot stress how good our driver Youness was. He was so helpful and made the trip incredible, putting up with all of us. He let us spend extra time in places and the trip was really flexible with what we wanted. The itinerary was well planned and each day had the perfect amount of stuff. The car was very spacious and Youness let us play whatever we wanted (sorry Youness haha). There were some things like the itinerary stating that we would be riding camels on both the evening and following morning in Merzouga, however we only got to ride them in the evening. Overall an incredible experience and will remember it forever!!Posted on Hamma HVerified One day trip to Agafay The trip was very well organised. It was also easy communicating with the team. The driver was on time and we enjoy it the day pass in Agafay. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed it!
