Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your Casablanca hotel. Travel to Rabat, where you’ll visit the Hassan Tower, Royal Palace, and the Kasbah of Oudayas. Continue to Meknes, the imperial city of Sultan Moulay Ismail, and explore Bab el-Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Stop at Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman site, before arriving in Fes for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Fes el-Bali, the world’s oldest medieval medina. Visit the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), the Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, and Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, the world’s first university. Explore the vibrant souks and artisan quarters before relaxing at your riad.
Depart Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” and Azrou’s Cedar Forest, home to Barbary monkeys. Stop in Midelt for lunch before continuing through the scenic Ziz Valley and reaching Erfoud. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where camels await to carry you across the dunes of Erg Chebbi for a magical sunset ride. At the luxury camp, enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and stargazing in the peaceful Sahara night.
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, then ride camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast, journey through Rissani and Tinghir to reach the dramatic Todra Gorges, famous for their 300-meter cliffs. Continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll admire the rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers” and the winding Dades Road before spending the night in a traditional Kasbah.
After breakfast, travel along the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm oasis before reaching Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the Cinema Studios and Taourirt Kasbah, then continue to the legendary Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) before arriving in Marrakech for dinner and overnight stay.
The journey is spread over two days with stops in Rabat, Fes, and Midelt, totaling around 9–10 hours of drive time, comfortably broken up with sightseeing.
You’ll stay in charming riads or Kasbah hotels and a luxury Sahara camp with private ensuite tents, hot showers, and toilets.

Transfern var i tid, vi fick stanna på ställen för att köpa mat och vår förare körde väldigt försiktigt och bra! Vår upplevelse var 10/10, vi var 10 personer och det var väldigt bekväm och rymlig transfer vi fick!Posted on GrandTour746743Verified A wonderful taste of Morocco and the desert It was a magical trip. Our guide Mohammed had many years of experience plus he had genuine love for his job and his native country. This combined, provided a very rich 3 days where we learned and experienced Morocco. The scenery was amazing from the Atlas Mountains to the Saharra desert. From the Berber villages to the vast canyons and gorges. The food along the way was local and delicious - we never went hungry. As we spent a lot of time in the car (which was comfortable and luxurious - a Mecedes van), Mohammed was very open to stopping when we wanted to (or needed to!). The accommodations were really top notch highlighted by the tent in the desert. The experience in the desert, traveling on camel to where we slept, the scenery, the massive dunes, the sky full of stars, the chill at night, and the hospitality of the local people made it an experience that I will repeat. I will give this experience my highest recommendation.Posted on Henry OVerified Best trip ever We had the absolute best time. I cannot stress how good our driver Youness was. He was so helpful and made the trip incredible, putting up with all of us. He let us spend extra time in places and the trip was really flexible with what we wanted. The itinerary was well planned and each day had the perfect amount of stuff. The car was very spacious and Youness let us play whatever we wanted (sorry Youness haha). There were some things like the itinerary stating that we would be riding camels on both the evening and following morning in Merzouga, however we only got to ride them in the evening. Overall an incredible experience and will remember it forever!!Posted on Hamma HVerified One day trip to Agafay The trip was very well organised. It was also easy communicating with the team. The driver was on time and we enjoy it the day pass in Agafay. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed it!
