We’ll be happy to design a customized itinerary tailored to your preferences, travel dates, and duration of stay. We specialize in creating personalized tours and experiences across Morocco.
Your journey begins with pick-up from your Casablanca hotel. Travel to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital, to visit the Hassan Tower, Royal Palace, and the Kasbah of Oudayas. Continue to Meknes, the former imperial city of Sultan Moulay Ismail, where you’ll admire Bab el-Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Stop at Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, before reaching Fes for dinner and overnight stay in a charming riad.
After breakfast, depart Fes for a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane, nicknamed “the Switzerland of Morocco.” Stop in Azrou’s cedar forest to meet friendly Barbary monkeys, then enjoy lunch in Midelt. Continue along the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and mountain views, before arriving in Merzouga — the gateway to the Sahara. Trade your vehicle for a camel and embark on a sunset trek through the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. At camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber drumming, and a magical night under the desert sky.
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes — an unforgettable highlight of your journey. After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and continue toward Rissani, known for its authentic souks and fossil crafts. Drive through Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop, then head to Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs rise 300 meters above a crystal-clear river. After lunch, journey through the Dades Valley, known for its red cliffs and winding roads, and spend the night in a Kasbah surrounded by dramatic scenery.
After breakfast, follow the road through the Valley of Roses and the lush Skoura palm oasis, dotted with historic kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you’ll visit the Cinema Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Continue to the legendary Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) before arriving in Marrakech, where your tour concludes.
The journey from Casablanca to Merzouga is divided over two days, with scenic stops in Fes, Midelt, and the Ziz Valley. The total driving time is about 9–10 hours, but it’s comfortably broken up with sightseeing and rest stops.

He was the best ever and we are so appreciative. Posted on GrandTour746743Verified A wonderful taste of Morocco and the desert It was a magical trip. Our guide Mohammed had many years of experience plus he had genuine love for his job and his native country. This combined, provided a very rich 3 days where we learned and experienced Morocco. The scenery was amazing from the Atlas Mountains to the Saharra desert. From the Berber villages to the vast canyons and gorges. The food along the way was local and delicious - we never went hungry. As we spent a lot of time in the car (which was comfortable and luxurious - a Mecedes van), Mohammed was very open to stopping when we wanted to (or needed to!). The accommodations were really top notch highlighted by the tent in the desert. The experience in the desert, traveling on camel to where we slept, the scenery, the massive dunes, the sky full of stars, the chill at night, and the hospitality of the local people made it an experience that I will repeat. I will give this experience my highest recommendation.Posted on Henry OVerified Best trip ever We had the absolute best time. I cannot stress how good our driver Youness was. He was so helpful and made the trip incredible, putting up with all of us. He let us spend extra time in places and the trip was really flexible with what we wanted. The itinerary was well planned and each day had the perfect amount of stuff. The car was very spacious and Youness let us play whatever we wanted (sorry Youness haha). There were some things like the itinerary stating that we would be riding camels on both the evening and following morning in Merzouga, however we only got to ride them in the evening. Overall an incredible experience and will remember it forever!!Posted on Hamma HVerified One day trip to Agafay The trip was very well organised. It was also easy communicating with the team. The driver was on time and we enjoy it the day pass in Agafay. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed it!
