Your adventure begins with an 8:00 a.m. pickup from your Marrakech hotel or riad. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the breathtaking Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, enjoying photo stops at traditional Berber villages.
Visit the historic Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet before continuing through the Ounila Valley, dotted with ancient settlements. Arrive at Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous ksar, and explore its labyrinthine alleys and viewpoints. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Skoura Oasis to visit the Kasbah of Amredil, a symbol of southern Moroccan architecture. Continue along the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rosewater distilleries and Berber villages. Travel through the Dades Valley, known for its striking rock formations, before reaching Todra Gorges, a paradise for hikers and photographers. Dinner and overnight stay in a kasbah hotel.
Begin your day with a morning walk through the palm groves, then drive toward Tinjedad for lunch. Continue through Touroug and El-Jarf, stopping at a fossil workshop in Erfoud. Arrive at Merzouga, where your camels await to take you on a trek into the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset, enjoy a traditional dinner, and spend an unforgettable night in a nomadic desert camp.
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, return to your hotel by camel, then set out on a 4×4 desert tour to explore the surrounding region.
Visit fossil-rich sites, meet a nomadic Berber family, and stop in Khamlia village to enjoy traditional Gnawa music. After lunch, explore the Merzouga oasis, irrigation systems, and the seasonal Dayet Srij Lake (home to flamingos when in season). Return for dinner and an overnight stay in your desert lodge or auberge.
After breakfast, depart toward Fes via Rissani, where you can visit its traditional market. Continue through Erfoud and the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for scenic photos. Pass through the Tizi N’talghamt Pass and stop for lunch in Midelt before entering the Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou to meet playful Barbary monkeys, then pass through Ifrane, Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” before reaching Fes in the evening.
The full journey spans five days, with daily scenic drives of 6–9 hours including sightseeing stops. It’s designed to balance travel time with cultural and natural exploration.
You’ll stay in 4★ traditional Kasbahs or Riads, plus one night in a luxury desert camp featuring private ensuite tents, hot showers, and comfortable beds.

Transfern var i tid, vi fick stanna på ställen för att köpa mat och vår förare körde väldigt försiktigt och bra! Vår upplevelse var 10/10, vi var 10 personer och det var väldigt bekväm och rymlig transfer vi fick!Posted on GrandTour746743Verified A wonderful taste of Morocco and the desert It was a magical trip. Our guide Mohammed had many years of experience plus he had genuine love for his job and his native country. This combined, provided a very rich 3 days where we learned and experienced Morocco. The scenery was amazing from the Atlas Mountains to the Saharra desert. From the Berber villages to the vast canyons and gorges. The food along the way was local and delicious - we never went hungry. As we spent a lot of time in the car (which was comfortable and luxurious - a Mecedes van), Mohammed was very open to stopping when we wanted to (or needed to!). The accommodations were really top notch highlighted by the tent in the desert. The experience in the desert, traveling on camel to where we slept, the scenery, the massive dunes, the sky full of stars, the chill at night, and the hospitality of the local people made it an experience that I will repeat. I will give this experience my highest recommendation.Posted on Henry OVerified Best trip ever We had the absolute best time. I cannot stress how good our driver Youness was. He was so helpful and made the trip incredible, putting up with all of us. He let us spend extra time in places and the trip was really flexible with what we wanted. The itinerary was well planned and each day had the perfect amount of stuff. The car was very spacious and Youness let us play whatever we wanted (sorry Youness haha). There were some things like the itinerary stating that we would be riding camels on both the evening and following morning in Merzouga, however we only got to ride them in the evening. Overall an incredible experience and will remember it forever!!Posted on Hamma HVerified One day trip to Agafay The trip was very well organised. It was also easy communicating with the team. The driver was on time and we enjoy it the day pass in Agafay. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed it!
