Visit the legendary Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has graced many Hollywood films including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
After lunch, continue toward Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Cinema Studios, then drive along the picturesque Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to reach Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming Kasbah surrounded by spectacular mountain views.
After breakfast, travel through the lush Tinghir Oasis to reach the magnificent Todra Gorges, a natural wonder with towering limestone cliffs perfect for scenic walks and photography. Continue to Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops and date markets, before arriving at Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. Trade your vehicle for a camel ride across the shimmering dunes of Erg Chebbi just in time for the sunset. Settle into your luxury desert camp, where a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber drumming, and a sky full of stars await.
Wake early to admire a breathtaking Sahara sunrise, then enjoy breakfast before riding your camel back to the village. Depart toward Fes, passing through Rissani and the Ziz Valley, an oasis lined with palm groves. Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue across the Middle Atlas Mountains, visiting Azrou’s Cedar Forest, home to playful Barbary macaques. Drive through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes for dinner and rest.
After breakfast, explore the spiritual capital of Morocco with an official local guide. Visit the Medersa Bou Inania, Ennajarine Fountain, Karaouiyine Mosque, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the vibrant souks of the old medina. Witness artisans crafting leather, metalwork, and ceramics using ancient techniques. Return to your riad for an evening of relaxation in one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities.
Depart Fes after breakfast for Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit Bab Mansour, the majestic green gate, and Lahdim Square, the vibrant heart of the city. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, where a guided visit will immerse you in the grandeur of Morocco’s Roman past. Travel through rolling hills and traditional villages toward the Blue City of Chefchaouen, where you’ll have dinner and stay overnight in a peaceful riad.
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Chefchaouen’s blue-washed streets, artisan shops, and cozy cafes. Later, drive north through the Rif Mountains to reach Tangier, where your 6-day desert adventure concludes with drop-off at your hotel or the port.
The journey covers approximately 1,100 kilometers (680 miles) spread comfortably over six days, with scenic stops, guided visits, and overnight stays in carefully chosen locations to ensure a relaxed pace.

He was the best ever and we are so appreciative. Posted on GrandTour746743Verified A wonderful taste of Morocco and the desert It was a magical trip. Our guide Mohammed had many years of experience plus he had genuine love for his job and his native country. This combined, provided a very rich 3 days where we learned and experienced Morocco. The scenery was amazing from the Atlas Mountains to the Saharra desert. From the Berber villages to the vast canyons and gorges. The food along the way was local and delicious - we never went hungry. As we spent a lot of time in the car (which was comfortable and luxurious - a Mecedes van), Mohammed was very open to stopping when we wanted to (or needed to!). The accommodations were really top notch highlighted by the tent in the desert. The experience in the desert, traveling on camel to where we slept, the scenery, the massive dunes, the sky full of stars, the chill at night, and the hospitality of the local people made it an experience that I will repeat. I will give this experience my highest recommendation.Posted on Henry OVerified Best trip ever We had the absolute best time. I cannot stress how good our driver Youness was. He was so helpful and made the trip incredible, putting up with all of us. He let us spend extra time in places and the trip was really flexible with what we wanted. The itinerary was well planned and each day had the perfect amount of stuff. The car was very spacious and Youness let us play whatever we wanted (sorry Youness haha). There were some things like the itinerary stating that we would be riding camels on both the evening and following morning in Merzouga, however we only got to ride them in the evening. Overall an incredible experience and will remember it forever!!Posted on Hamma HVerified One day trip to Agafay The trip was very well organised. It was also easy communicating with the team. The driver was on time and we enjoy it the day pass in Agafay. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed it!
