Your driver will collect you at 8:00 a.m. to begin your scenic journey across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and breathtaking landscapes. We’ll stop at the legendary Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Morocco’s largest fortified village and a UNESCO-listed treasure, featured in films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
After lunch at the kasbah, we’ll continue toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” before traveling the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a charming guesthouse nestled among the red cliffs of the gorge.
After breakfast, we’ll explore the scenic Dades Valley, famed for its unique rock formations known as the Monkey’s Toes. Our drive continues to Tinghir and the Todra Valley, where you’ll take a leisurely walk beneath 300-meter cliffs admired by climbers worldwide.
We’ll stop in Erfoud and Rissani for lunch before reaching Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, watch a mesmerizing sunset, and spend an unforgettable night in a luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional drumming, and stargazing by the campfire.
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast and a shower, we’ll travel via Errachidia and the Ziz Valley, passing through Midelt and the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass. We’ll stop in Zaida for a delicious barbecue lunch, then continue to Azrou to see the famous Barbary macaques in the cedar forest. Later, visit Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, join your local guide for a full-day exploration of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, Attarine Madrasa, and the colorful souks of the medina. Enjoy lunch in a traditional riad before visiting the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and Fes’ famous pottery workshops. End your day with a panoramic view of the old city.
After breakfast, we’ll depart north toward Chefchaouen, crossing the Rif Mountains and the town of Ouazzane. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore Chefchaouen’s blue-washed medina, wander its charming alleys, and relax in a café overlooking the mountains. Transfern var i tid, vi fick stanna på ställen för att köpa mat och vår förare körde väldigt försiktigt och bra! Vår upplevelse var 10/10, vi var 10 personer och det var väldigt bekväm och rymlig transfer vi fick!Posted on GrandTour746743Verified A wonderful taste of Morocco and the desert It was a magical trip. Our guide Mohammed had many years of experience plus he had genuine love for his job and his native country. This combined, provided a very rich 3 days where we learned and experienced Morocco. The scenery was amazing from the Atlas Mountains to the Saharra desert. From the Berber villages to the vast canyons and gorges. The food along the way was local and delicious - we never went hungry. As we spent a lot of time in the car (which was comfortable and luxurious - a Mecedes van), Mohammed was very open to stopping when we wanted to (or needed to!). The accommodations were really top notch highlighted by the tent in the desert. The experience in the desert, traveling on camel to where we slept, the scenery, the massive dunes, the sky full of stars, the chill at night, and the hospitality of the local people made it an experience that I will repeat. I will give this experience my highest recommendation.Posted on Henry OVerified Best trip ever We had the absolute best time. I cannot stress how good our driver Youness was. He was so helpful and made the trip incredible, putting up with all of us. He let us spend extra time in places and the trip was really flexible with what we wanted. The itinerary was well planned and each day had the perfect amount of stuff. The car was very spacious and Youness let us play whatever we wanted (sorry Youness haha). There were some things like the itinerary stating that we would be riding camels on both the evening and following morning in Merzouga, however we only got to ride them in the evening. Overall an incredible experience and will remember it forever!!Posted on Hamma HVerified One day trip to Agafay The trip was very well organised. It was also easy communicating with the team. The driver was on time and we enjoy it the day pass in Agafay. I highly recommend it! We enjoyed it!
